Under 21 with Guardian

Originally backed by brothers Devin and Ben Ellman, and fronted by Jack Dunker, aptly named "Jack Dunker and the Ellman Bros” the trio had a unique sound that the young musicians worked to spread across the Midwest and beyond. The group met as students and performed in larger ensembles and recitals across the Kansas City region. But Jack's interest was always in singer/songwriters and red dirt music, Influenced by the work of Ryan Bingham, Jason Isbell, Tyler Childers and Evan Felker of Turnpike Troubadours, along with the classic sound of Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash. Jack started seeking out solo gigs close to home, playing at bars, breweries and coffee houses. He cut his first EP, released to streaming platforms in the summer of 2024. When opportunities to play on larger stages began to present themselves later that year, Jack reached out again to the Ellman Brothers with the intention of putting together something fresh. Undertones from the band's origin found their way into Jack’s music with defined bass lines, intentional timing and drum fills giving birth to their contribution to the music scene with a self-proclaimed "Funk'd Up Country" sound.



Jack signed his first booking and management deal with Smokeshow Entertainment in early 2025 and has since developed his sound and performances to the point of sharing the stage with Walker Montgomery, The Scarecrows, Canaan Cox, Ritch Henderson, Clay Clear Band and Low Gap. With several notable performances at fairs and rodeos under his belt, he looks forward to all the touring season in 2026 has to offer after building his national fanbase. Jack currently splits his time between his home in Missouri and his dorm at Oklahoma State University where he is a freshman this year. He is making the most of his time with friends in and out of the music industry and soaking up the best that the red dirt scene has to offer. During the school year he will be rocking in Oklahoma and surrounding states but during breaks he will be ready to burn up the roads in any U.S. market!
